Love it so much I bought it twice now. The first one my baby got snacks and stains on but let me tell you if I caught the stain fast it comes right out, even fruit! This mat always gets compliments because of how soft it is and how my babe can crawl freely on hardwood. I just opened this one and my best tip is just sliding your feet on it in a spiral over and over to soften it up without an iron lol. Don’t get a bright color if ur toddler sneaks snacks into the living room. Learned the hard way
My bunny Leila had started to get sore hocks from our nylon carpet, and I was advised to lay down a bunch of foam rugs to pad her feet. I wanted to cover a large space, so I bought this area rug and crossed my fingers. The plan was to put this rug in my room (where the bun spends the night) and buy a more expensive cushy rug for the living room—but the second this rug arrived, I was addicted lol. I'm autistic and texture-sensitive, and (for me at least) this rug feels like a hug after a long day. It's soft and surprisingly durable (Leila likes to try and dig into it, but after months of work has only managed to make a few nicks). I was so into this rug that I returned the $300 rug I bought from Home Depot for the living room and bought another one of these to replace it. I spend my days off lounging/napping on it. I hope someday Loartee will make a "runner" version.(Both times I bought this rug, there was a factory smell at first. The fabric also took a few days to "heal" after being vacuum-sealed—but the smell faded after maybe three days or so, and the rug does fluff up.)
OK so I will definitely admit that it was pretty frustrating after opening it and it being so flat and having such huge creases in it from being vacuum packed. I even let it sit out for a week in my sunroom and it honestly didn’t look any different than the day I opened it, it was super soft but had absolutely no cushion to it. I finally decided to stop being lazy and brought the iron out as suggested in the instructions and it ended up being an extremely satisfying experience! Seriously the steam and heat from the iron just fluffed that foam right up and now it’s definitely just as pictured in the product description and photos. I wish I had taken a picture of it when I first opened it just to show how disappointing it was, but here are a couple pictures of the process today: The first photo shows I had vacuumed it using the bare floor setting on my vacuum so that it wouldn’t suck the fabric in to the roller brush of the vacuum and on that first photo I had just ironed the top edge of it and you can already see the difference. The next photo shows what the rug looked like after ironing the entire thing. And the last photo shows that it’s so fluffy that I have footprint indentations for about a minute after walking on it. I absolutely love this rug and wish I hadn’t been so lazy about ironing it so we could’ve enjoyed it sooner!
I read a lot of the bad reviews on how ‘awful this product looks and how thin it is upon unpacking’, but I’m glad I didn’t let them sway me from buying this rug! I was looking for something to cover our stone bathroom floor where my 8 month old is learning to crawl while I’m getting ready. This rug is just perfect! It makes our cold bathroom floor a warm, cozy, comfy place for her to play and crawl, and it is absolutely thick enough to protect her if she takes a topple! I even do my ab workouts on this rug because it is so soft and cushy and beats yoga mats!My photo above is what it looks like 5 days after opening. You can still see the lines from where it was folded, but I’m sure they will come out with time or a steamer (which I haven’t done). It arrives tightly vacuum sealed for shipping efficiency, so of course it isn’t just going to pop open and look perfect. Walking on it daily and running a vacuum over it helped to fluff the rug. The first couple days, the rug did look awful and it was thin and very wrinkly, but it just takes time! Be patient. It might take a week or so for it to fluff up fully. Great rug at a great price.
Bought for a playpen and it is nice and thick. Seems like my grandson enjoys playing on it. Stays put and easy to wipe up spills.

It's thick, soft, and gives me so much peace of mind while my little one rolls, crawls, and practices their newest daredevil moves.Now, let me talk about that 1.3-inch thickness. Listen... whoever says 1.3 inches isn't impressive has clearly never watched a baby launch themselves backwards for absolutely no reason. 😂 Those 1.3 inches have probably saved my sanity (and my baby's forehead) more than once!The 50x50 size is perfect—not too small where you're constantly repositioning your baby, and not so huge that it takes over the whole room. It's easy to wipe clean, comfortable enough for me to sit on during playtime, and sturdy enough to handle daily use.If you're on the fence, just get it. Your baby gets a comfy place to play, and you get one less thing to worry about. That's a win-win in my book!

We wanted something to help protect our baby while hitting their milestones. Even with thick carpet, we noticed we needed something more. This mat is everything wanted and more. Super comfortable and has been great for our little one!

This is an excellent mat for infants. They can play on it and stay safe at the same time. This is very soft so if they are learning to walk or crawl then this is a must have. Even if they bump their head it doesn’t matter.

This mat is legit. My daughter will fall off the couch and doesn’t even hurt herself. The dogs also love laying on it. It looks and feels great. Only complaint is that the beige gets dirty from the dogs going in and out of the house. It’s cleans fairly easy and has been pretty durable thus far. Size is perfect for our living room.
Very soft and comfy, thick enough to protect baby’s head when falling or rolling over and also makes it more comfortable for me to sit in the playpen with him. Easy to spot clean when baby spits up. No odor. Took a couple days to fully fluff up out of the vacuum packaging

Absolutely love this playmat! Very plush, soft and luxe! The perfect addition to my son's bedroom. We moved a house with no carpet, and I wanted some nice soft areas for my son to play and this checked all the boxes. Highly recommend
