I put this together within about 45 min. Great quality and it looks great in the nursery. I have toys and books in the cubbys and trays for baby hygiene stuff on the top. Love the way it turned out and it was a good value. It looks great and is great for organizing my baby’s stuff
Cute and easy enough to assemble. The smash seat is fairly comfortable and it fit perfectly into the nursery closet as a little reading nook. Assembly included a lot of the typical IKEA style pieces with small wooden dowels and looking up slightly uneven holes but will could do it all in about 30 min and seems study enough.
I purchased this bookshelf for my son’s room and it’s absolutely perfect! It matches the color of his furniture and fits perfectly in the space we have it in. We found no issues with assembly—my husband put it together himself in about an hour and he didn’t mention anything about the instructions being difficult or hard to understand. Honestly, it’s a great little piece. My son loves it and has sat/laid in the little “chair” many times. Highly recommend this piece!
This was the perfect size and looks exactly like the advertisement. Assembly was a little confusing but was able to get done without having to call hubby. This is definitely something my daughter will grow with and I am proud of this purchase. I will say some type of Velcro is needed on the cushions though. They do tend to slide.
So first view before assembly, the screws were packaged, organized, and labeled nicely so you don’t have to dig through them to find what you need. The bookshelf material were all nicely packaged and protected. Assembly took me about 30minutes to build it by myself. The book shelf itself is nice and sturdy, holds my 60lb son no problem and I sat on it as well and it held up. The cubbies are nice sized and there’s plenty of them. My only complaint is the cushions sliding off every time, I used double sided Velcro tape on the bottom of each cushion and that has fixed the problem so far. Surprisingly for the cushions being so thin, my son still says he stays very comfortable! I think you get a good unit for a good price!
I put this cute little reading nook in my daughter’s nursery. I wanted to put something that would encourage her to read when she is older, and I thought this would be a great addition to her room.It was very easy to assemble with two people and the instructions were pretty clear.It turned out very cute and went well with our other white and gray furniture.My biggest complaint is that it does not seem very sturdy, which is a huge concern for children’s furniture. We are considering adding extra stability measures because we are nervous for her to sit on it when she is old enough. I tried it out, and it seemed a bit shaky and I was scared to put my full weight on it.
It's very nice I really love it. The wood is chipped on in the corners. I was better off w/o the instructions & just looking @ the pic, instructions are only good to let you know what screws to use. It's very sturdy & perfect for toddlers. Only thing is that the screws kind of don't match with the holes so the wood has to shift & kind or break off in order for it to fit. Other than that, I recommend buying Velcro so that the grey pillows can stay put. Neat product I would buy again.

This is so adorable for my little granddaughter's room. Put together all by myself (60 year old granny). I am mechanically inclined. But easy as long as directions are followed and you are familiar with dowels, lock nuts, etc. Only need a screwdriver. Would definitely buy again. Love the little cushions, but I will get some sort of adhesive velcro for the cushions as I'm sure first thing she'll do is pull them off. LOL She is 1 1/2.
This bookshelf is amazing! It totally transformed my space from looking like a cluttered mess to looking neat and tidy.Very sturdy and kids enjoy it.We’ll get many years of use out of this for the kiddos!
This bookshelf book is perfect! It’s true to size, it’s very stable and has so much storage! My daughter loves cuddling up in it and reading. I’m not sure the weight limit but it held me up when I sat on it and I weigh 120lbs! The only downside is the cushions slide. But that’s easily fixed with some alien tape!
The idea of having a bookcase and a nook in one is a big selling point. The wood quality is not the best (particle board as mentioned in the product description) and it chipped at some spots while screwing the screws (luckily not visible). Cushions are comfortable but don’t attach to the surface of the bookcase. The bookcase doesn’t include a furniture anchor to secure it to the wall. Overall, it’s a nice addition to our LO’s playroom. She liked it and immediately climbed up and sat in the nook.
Unable to assemble due to missing parts, however the other parts seemed about the quality I expected. I contacted the seller in hopes they can send me the missing piece or a different setUpdate :Seller contacted me, the instructions were outdated or for a different model and I had all parts needed. Looks very cute. Not the sturdiest but good for the price. And its lasted me just fine. I wouldn't move it too much after its been set up especially with books inside. It seems like it could break fairly easily if you mishandled it, but it handles my 3 year old toddler's weight just fine when she sits on it.
The photos and many glowing 4-5 star reviews had my wife and I excited about this book shelf four our toddler. The design looks great, a nice place to put his books and for him to sit and enjoy looking at his books. The first order arrived, everything looked to be packaged fine. I got everything out of the box and prepared to assemble. Step one...connect panels E & F to the left and right side of panel G. Sounds good....except Panels E & F, which are mirror images of each other with pre-drilled holes were missing. They weren't in the box. Completely missing.I thought I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, so I decided to email customer service (as it instructed me to on the instruction manual). The manual has no customer service number to call. Just an email address. So I email and explain that I'm missing panels E and F. No response. It has been 3 weeks since the first order and no response. I looked up their customer service phone number. I called and no answer. An automated message comes on and then puts you on hold...I waited on hold for 30 minutes and gave up. Contacting this company is worthless.So I had a brilliant Idea. I'll order a new one and return the old. The 2nd order arrives...I look at all the parts. I see the F panel...all is looking good. I see another panel that looks the same. But there's no sticker anywhere to tell if it's the E panel, but it looks just like the F panel, it must be right, right?! WRONG!!! I started to assemble only to realize that they didn't send E & F. They sent 2 F panels. F & E are supposed to mirror each other. meaning they look the same but holes will be drilled on opposite sides because they are the left and right side of the seat, so the holes on the unlabelled corner do not line up at all with the holes on the G panel because it's not the E panel. It's 2 F panels. It's a joke. 2 different orders, the same problem with the same 2 panels on both orders.I thought I could get around it by flipping the panels and drilling my own holes, but even partially assembled I realized that there were predrilled holes missing on some panels that were supposed to have them. Other panels didn't line up properly or have the holes drilled where they were supposed to be. It's a mess. I'm not sure how so many others who wrote such amazing 5 star reviews got so lucky. Maybe I'm just that one lucky person who got struck by lightning twice while everyone else in the world won the lottery.
As with all furniture that you have to assemble, there were a few hiccups because the cam lock screws on the angled boards weren't adjusted correctly for the angle. They wouldn't secure correctly, so my husband had to mess with it for a long time to get it all together. I added some carpet tape to the cushions so they don't keep falling off and sliding around. The grey color of the cushions isn't the most fashionable look with the dark brown wood so that is the other reason it lost a star. So, I take one star away for those reasons.Other than that I love the way it looks. It holds all of his books, even the really big books, and my 3 year old does like sitting and playing or reading on the reading nook. It fit really nicely in a small bedroom and I will use it in my elementary classroom since I am a teacher if we don't need it in my child's room anymore one day.
